Wenotes is built so that your notes stay yours. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
Your Content Stays on Your Device
All content you create in Wenotes — handwriting, PDFs, images, video, and audio recordings — is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or anyone else.
No Account Required
Wenotes does not require an account or sign-in. We have no user database, because there is nothing to put in one.
No Tracking
We use no analytics tools, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking SDKs of any kind.
Camera and Microphone

The camera is used only when you choose to scan a document.

The microphone is used only when you choose to record an audio note.
In both cases, the result is saved on your device only. Wenotes never accesses the camera or microphone in the background.
Links Inside PDFs
Tapping a hyperlink inside a PDF opens that page in an in-app browser (Apple's SFSafariViewController). That connection is handled by Apple's Safari services under Apple's own privacy practices. Wenotes does not collect or store any data from it.
Changes to This Policy
If our practices ever change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
