Your Content Stays on Your Device
Everything you create in Wenotes — handwriting, PDFs, images, video, and audio — is stored on your device. We never see or store your notes on our servers.
iCloud Backup
You can turn on iCloud backup to keep a copy of your notes in your personal iCloud account. Apple handles this storage and transfer under Apple's own privacy practices. Only your Apple account can access it — Wenotes and Webudding Inc. cannot. You can turn it off anytime in the app's settings.
Accounts and Sign-In
You don't need an account to use Wenotes. Every core feature works without signing in.
If you choose to sign in, you can use Apple, Google, or a Webudding account. Signing in creates or links a Webudding account, operated by Webudding Inc., the maker of Wenotes.
When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and an account identifier from the sign-in provider. With Sign in with Apple, you can hide your real email. We use this only to sign you in and provide account features. We never sell your information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate our account system, and they protect it to the same standard.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see your payment details. When you buy premium access while signed in, we keep a record of that purchase in your account so your access stays available across our services.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account anytime in the app's settings. This removes your personal information from our systems, except where the law requires us to keep it. You can also email us to request deletion.
Camera and Microphone

The camera is used only when you scan a document.

The microphone is used only when you record an audio note.
Both results are saved on your device only. Wenotes never uses the camera or microphone in the background.
Links Inside PDFs
Tapping a link inside a PDF opens it in an in-app browser (Apple's SFSafariViewController). Apple's Safari services handle that connection. Wenotes does not collect any data from it.
Advertising Measurement
To understand whether our ads work, Wenotes includes Meta's measurement SDK. It shares limited technical information about your device and app activity — such as installs and purchases — with Meta. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not use this data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
